Autumn

Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year. I like to travel during the autumn and enjoy the spectacular fall foliage in the northeast. Camping and hiking is great this time of year.

The Autumnal Equinox for 2005 will occur at 6:14 PM EDT on September 22^nd.

	The Autumnal Equinox, also known as Mabon, occurs in the middle of September. It is the main harvest festival and marks the beginning of Autumn.
	Halloween, also known as Samhain, occurs in late October and early November. This is the ancient New Year, and a time for letting go of the old and looking ahead to the new. It marks the end of the harvest season and is the festival of endings and transformation.
